While Morgan Stanley’s chief legal officer wants lawyers to return offices, many law firms representing the investment bank have already planned for increased remote-working flexibility in some shape going forward.

Among more than 15 law firms that have advised Morgan Stanley in the last month, most have incorporated some remote working into their return-to-office plans, or have at least alluded to more flexible arrangements compared with pre-pandemic times, according to a Law.com analysis of public records and law firm announcements.
