Dechert and its former head of white collar Neil Gerrard are facing fresh allegations of taking part in the hacking of an aviation tycoon’s data, as the firm and Gerrard continue to defend multiple other litigation cases in London.

The most recent allegations are the latest in a series of varied court claims against the firm and Gerrard, who are collectively set to spend around £50 million in legal costs defending three of the four cases. An estimate for legal costs is yet to be made in the fourth case, which also involves allegations of hacking against both the firm and Gerrard.
