Kenneth Feinberg, the special master who oversaw the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund—a fund that saw 97% of all eligible families of victims participate—has some advice for the folks administering the program to compensate those potentially harmed by COVID-19 vaccines.

“You better make it speedy, efficient and you better make it generous because if it’s not generous then you’re going to run into this problem where you’re accused of railroading individuals into a strange, uncertain administrative program—a bureaucratic program—where you lack the opportunity to select a different option, the courtroom,” said Feinberg.
