The demotion of Gregg Shore last week for driving for DoorDash while supposed to be working as Bucks County’s first district attorney likely isn’t something other attorneys working second jobs in their spare time should be too concerned about, experts said this week.

Those in the area who handle attorney ethical issues have said Shore’s situation could be critiqued as an employer/employee violation generally, as a violation of ethics rules or, on a less official front, as a blow to the public’s perception of the DA’s office.
