“This has been very hard week for me and my team,” acknowledges Lynn Whitcher, general counsel at MD7 and an Asian American. A gunman in Atlanta killed eight people, including six women of Asian descent.
In the aftermath of the shooting, another in-house lawyer at MD7, also a woman of Asian descent, asked Whitcher if it would be acceptable to share what she was feeling—the fear, concern, and sadness—with her colleagues.
