In-person civil jury trials will resume in Brooklyn state Supreme Court on March 22, Administrative Judge Lawrence Knipel announced Monday.

In a brief memo circulated Monday afternoon, Knipel said that safety was the “primary concern” in reopening courtrooms, which will be “deeply cleaned, adequately ventilated and Plexiglassed” to resume the Civil Term of the Supreme Court in Kings County, the most populous county in New York state.
