The day after the news of her nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize for her work to achieve nonviolent change through voting, former tax lawyer, legislator and gubernatorial candidate-turned-activist Stacey Abrams told a gathering of legal professionals Tuesday that the work is by no means finished.

“Democracy remains under attack,” Abrams said during a virtual fireside chat in the opening session of ALM’s Legalweek(year) series of events.
