A team of four Morgan Stanley advisors managing some $250 million in client assets and about $850 million in retirement-plan assets has jumped to Raymond James’ independent channel.

The group comprises Randy Campbell, Eric A. Johnson, Mason McGiboney and Stacy Womack, and does business as Campbell Johnson McGiboney Wealth Advisors in Franklin, Tennessee. Also making the move is Beth Wood, registered client service associate.

“Our core objective is to serve our clients with the best advice, counsel, support and service that we can provide,” Campbell said in a statement. “Our analysis of firms [to move to] focused on which firm could best support our efforts …  and we determined Raymond James to be superior in every metric we used in our evaluation. It made our decision to select Raymond James as a partner an easy one.”

Campbell has about 30 years of industry experience. He started his career with Robinson Humphrey in 1990, which through several mergers became part of Morgan Stanley.

Johnson has been in the industry for more than 23 years, while Womack has 22 years of experience, including six at Raymond James (2008-2014).  McGiboney joined Morgan Stanley in 2018.

Raymond James has some 8,200 independent and employee financial advisors in the United States, Canada and overseas. Total client assets are $993 billion.
