Four partners at major U.S. law firms in Washington will take senior roles in the Biden White House counsel’s office, a return to public service for each of them after holding senior roles during the Obama administration, the transition said Wednesday.

Lawyers from Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr; Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher; and Latham & Watkins were publicly named to leadership posts Wednesday in the Biden White House. The transition team earlier announced Dana Remus would serve as White House counsel.
