Former Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer partner Ryan Beckwith’s High Court Appeal against a Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal’s (SDT) ruling relating to alleged misconduct has succeeded, a judgment handed down on Friday said.
The SDT’s decision to fine Beckwith £35,000 has been quashed, and the ruling that he failed to act with integrity, as required of a member of the profession, and for failing to behave in a way that maintains the public trust have been reversed.
