The incursion of international law firms, along with de-globalisation post-COVID, are among the biggest threats to domestic firms in Africa, according to a survey of the biggest legal institutions in the region.
While COVID-19 was cited by most as their main concern, the survey — conducted by Law.com International and professional services group Africa Legal — found 70% of respondents said international law firms would be their main source of competition over the next five years.
