Norton Rose Fulbright Misled Ex-Partner in Employment Dispute, Judge Rules

Norton Rose Fulbright intentionally misled a former partner suing the global law firm for unfair dismissal and added a backdated signature to a document to cover up the deception, Australia’s Federal Court has ruled.

This week Justice Duncan Kerr rejected the firm’s argument that it had not intended to be misleading and awarded former partner Thomas Martin A$160,000 (US$117,000) in damages.
