Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom represented South Korean semiconductor supplier SK hynix in its $9 billion acquisition of Intel’s NAND component and wafer business while Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher represented Dallas-based energy company Pioneer Natural Resources in its $7.6 billion acquisition of Austin, Texas, based Parsley Energy in two early-week deals that are helping shape a resurgent Q4 for mergers and acquisitions work.
Intel was represented by Munger, Tolles & Olson, Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr, Linklaters and Bae, Kim & Lee. K&C and Fangda Partners also represented SK hynix in the transaction.
