For almost everyone in the legal industry the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown has led to a new era of flexible working. But the knock-on effect of this could be that London lawyers start to struggle to justify their higher salaries, says a leading legal figure at PwC.

Ed Stacey, partner and head of legal at the Big Four giant in the U.K., believes that remote working is here for good. “We’ve been really clear, we don’t expect this to come back to everybody being in the office five days a week,” he tells Law.com International. “Even those people who perhaps were working four days will probably be more like three days in the office.”
