Santander Banks On Uria For €112M Andrea Orcel Dispute

Spanish heavyweight duo Uría Menéndez and De Carlos Remón are advising on the dispute between Santander and top Italian banker Andrea Orcel over the withdrawal of a CEO job offer.

Orcel, who left his position as UBS president to join as Santander’s CEO, is claiming a breach of contract over Santander’s reversal. He is suing for €112 million.
