The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) has hired Evelyn Boswell to be the organization’s diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) director.
The Kansas City, Missouri-based regulator group says one of Boswell’s roles will be overseeing a new DE&I council.

Boswell previously was a human resources advisor at H&R Block.
Boswell has a bachelor’s degree from Arkansas State University and a master’s degree in human resources management from Webster University.
She holds the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) professional designations.
She has been an equal employment opportunity compliance administrator for GEHA, a diversity recruiter for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, and the human resources manager at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City.
