Hogan Lovells has been awarded a £4 million contract to advise the U.K. government’s Department of International Trade (DIT) on the negotiation of a future UK-Australia and UK-New Zealand free trade agreement (FTA), according to a filing on the government’s website.

In June, the U.K. government kicked off FTA negotiations with Australia and New Zealand, with drinks companies, the automotive industry and professional services firms among those expected to benefit from removing trade barriers.
