The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit on Tuesday granted President Donald Trump’s request for a stay of the Manhattan district attorney’s grand jury subpoena for his financial records.
Attorneys for Trump and Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. are set to make their arguments on the merits of the case Sept. 25, the circuit panel of Judges Robert Katzmann, John M. Walker Jr. and Raymond J. Lohier Jr. decided in a one-page order issued hours after hearing arguments on the stay.
