The legal community in Brazil is in mourning after the passing of the young and influential managing partner of Mattos Filho, a top-billing law firm in Brazil.
José Eduardo Carneiro Queiroz, 49, died Monday in the state of São Paulo. Mattos Filho has not disclosed the cause of death. Roberto Quiroga, who led the firm before Queiroz, will temporarily reassume the role of managing partner.
