Nearly half of the companies responding to a survey by the American Chamber of Commerce in China said that uncertainty created by the coronavirus outbreak has prompted them to take a negative outlook on the U.S.-China bilateral relationship.

The results of the survey showed that 44% of the 170 companies responding had a dim view of the future of the U.S.-China relationship. The chamber’s member companies include such global firms as Boeing, Co., General Motors Co., IBM Corp. and Microsoft Corp.
