City Reaches Agreement on Next Phase of North Shore Development

The plan includes the first residential development in the area between PNC Park and Heinz Field, new green space, and a new privately-constructed parking garage, city officials say.

PITTSBURGH—The City of Pittsburgh, the Stadium Authority of the City of Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Continental Real Estate Companies reached a comprehensive agreement last week on a development plan for the remaining parcels on the North Shore between PNC Park and Heinz Field.

The plan includes the first residential development in the area between PNC Park and Heinz Field, new green space and a new privately-constructed parking garage, city officials say.
