PayPal General Counsel to Lead Discover's Legal Department

The general counsel of PayPal is slated to head the legal department at Discover Financial Services, a spokesperson for the company confirmed Wednesday night.

The Discover spokesperson confirmed Wanji Walcott will become the chief legal officer and general counsel. The spokesperson said Walcott will begin July 22 and become a member of the executive committee while being based in Riverwoods, Illinois.
