It’s been more than 20 years since Andrew Klein left the associate ranks of Cravath, Swaine & Moore to start his first company. Now, after a career spent building businesses in areas where new technologies disrupt existing industries, Klein is coming back to his roots.

His latest venture, Reynen Court, is a platform that will allow law firms to more easily adopt new technologies and link separate tools together within a secure computing environment. It’s sort of like an app-store for legal tech, and it could be a game changer. Notably, the platform already has backing from a dozen elite law firms.

In this episode, legal business reporter Roy Strom, author of The Law Firm Disrupted email briefing, explains why Reynen Court captured his attention. Strom talks with Klein about his unconventional career path and gets his advice for aspiring entrepreneurs who might be toiling away in Big Law.
