The next round of hotel earning promos has started to trickle in. This time around SPG is leading the pack, announcing double or triple points for stays between 1 May – 31 July 2014. Get double points on all eligible stays during the promo period and triple points if the stay includes a Sunday night (Saturday night in the Middle East) Saturday night (Sunday night in the Middle East).
Registration is required.
As is always the case with the SPG promos there is a list of non-participating hotels. This promo has 138 on that roster.

It’s actually the other way around — triple points if the stay includes a Sunday night (Saturday night in the Middle East).

For participating hotels in the Middle East, triple Starpoints will be awarded for stays that include a Saturday night instead of Sunday: Amman: Jordan; Bahrain: Bahrain; Kuwait: Kuwait City; Lebanon: Beirut; Saudi Arabia: Al Khobar, Dammam, Jeddah, Makkah, Medina, Riyadh; Qatar: Doha; United Arab Emirates: Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai and Fujairah. For all other eligible stays, a registered member will earn double Starpoints at participating hotels and resorts during the promotion period.”

Thanks for posting. I didn’t see an email from SPG on this and would have missed it. I’ll have my first SPG stay since New Year’s 2011 during this promo. I actually rack up decent points with them thanks to Crossover Rewards with Delta.
