Description

[UPDATE: Tickets for this event are no longer on sale. I didn't give enough notice for this event, and so I'm going to reschedule it for sometime in 2015. Thanks for your interest, and sorry for the wasted click.]

A small-group workshop for venture-backed startups and those that want to get there.

For the first time in San Francisco, a chance to spend a day with your peers and with Seth Godin, focusing on issues that matter to CEOs, to growth hackers, to those that want to go viral. The conversation will range from product design to storytelling, from business models to alternatives to Sand Hill Road.

This is a key moment in the evolution of your startup. Good decisions now will multiply down the road... you have the perfect combination of leverage and opportunity, and this is the moment to make the hard decisions.

The roundtable will focus on answering your questions about go-to-market strategies, the real mvp, hiring, leadership, disrupting markets, storytelling and what to do next. What change are you trying to make in the market and in the people your organization interacts with? Getting those changes right is critical.

Seth was the founder of Yoyodyne (the first internet investment made by Flatiron, founded by Fred Wilson and Jerry Colonna, back in the dark ages) as well as Squidoo. He's a former VP of Direct Marketing at Yahoo and a certified launcher of projects and maker of ruckuses. This is the seminar he wishes he could have gone to twenty years ago.

There are only 19 seats at the table, come prepared to engage. (Because of the intimate size of the event, tickets are transferrable but not refundable)

How the day works:

Seth (weird to write about myself in the third person, sorry) will set the stage with a thirty-minute overview of many of the issues faced by companies seeking growth and a foothold in the marketplace, and then it's Q&A and direct interaction for the rest of the day. Lunch and snacks (and coffee) provided.

Attendees will get all the details of location via email. It'll be held in a conference room downtown.

What to expect? Here's a quote from the last seminar:

Your head will be spinning, you'll try to absorb everything you can, and you'll know from the moment you arrive that your life's perspectives will be forever changed for the better.
