We all look up to athletes because they can do remarkable things we cannot do. And these shots just prove that. Check out the videos below to see some of the most ridiculous shots taken in the sporting world — all that scored a point (or in the NBA’s case, two or three).

NBA: Michael Jordan’s famous series-winning shot

Michael Jordan had some phenomenal shots throughout his career, but this was definitely one of the best. Jordan hangs in the air to knock down the series-winning shot over Craig Ehlo during the 1992 NBA playoffs.

Golf: Lexi Thompson Hole-in-One at HSBC Championships

Despite a strong breeze, Lexi Thompson hit a beautiful hole-in-one during the HSBC Women’s Championships in 2015. It was the fifth of her career.

Soccer: David Beckham gets England to World Cup Finals

David Beckham had one shot in order to get England to the World Cup finals in 2001, and of course, he made it, causing the announcer to say, “Give that man a knighthood!

Tennis: Serena Williams vs. Maria Sharapova

There is nothing Serena can’t do. She shows incredible athleticism in this shot, which she gets across the court in order to fire a shot right in the corner.

Hockey: Bobby Orr wins the Stanley Cup

Bobby Orr’s famous “flying goal” secured the Bruins the Stanley Cup in 1970. He received a pass from Derek Sanderson and put a shot past Blues goalie Glenn Hall. He was accidentally tripped after the shot, which is how he ended up in the flying pose.

NBA: Sacramento Kings vs. Memphis Grizzlies

Tyreke Evans of the Sacramento Kings took a half-court shot right at the buzzer to beat the Grizzlies on December 29, 2010. It is ridiculous that it not only went in, but doesn’t even look like it hit the net. You can see the shot at about 51 seconds in.

Soccer: Mia Hamm scores 108th goal to beat record

During the U.S. vs. Brazil game in 1999, Mia Hamm scored a goal through the goalie’s legs for her 108th career goal. In doing so, she surpassed Italy’s Elisabetta Vignotto and became the world’s all-time leading goal-scorer.

NBA: Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Clippers

Steph Curry makes a beautiful three-pointer, does a little shimmy, and makes a foul shot. Just a few minutes later, he makes another three-pointer from an impossible angle with one second left in the third quarter.

Lacrosse: UNC trick shot vs. Northwestern

UNC senior attacker Sammy Jo Tracy received a pass and shot it between her own legs with her back to the goalie to score a point for UNC during the match against Northwestern.

Golf: Matt Kuchar Hole-in-One at Masters

Kuchar takes an incredible shot at the Masters Tournament and succeeds with a hole-in-one.

WNBA: LA Sparks vs. Minnesota Lyons

The Sparks are able to get a shot in, despite being completely surrounded, to win the 2016 WBNA finals.

Hockey: Washington Capitals vs. Phoenix Coyotes

Alex Ovechkin is literally on his back and he still gets the puck in the net. Unbelievable.
