A couple weeks ago United added new Star Alliance partner Eva to their online award booking engine. Just a few hours later it disappeared due to “a small issue with a limited number of BR awards since launch.” They predicted 10-14 days to fix the issue and if you only count business days they hit the mark. The inventory is back on the site now.
As before, it includes mixed-carrier itineraries and the inventory appears rather plentiful, even in premium cabins. Oh, and Star Alliance search alerts on the Wandering Aramean Travel Tools site are working again, too.

Availability isn’t going to last long… Lots of Taiwanese go to Taiwan yearly.
I called United and they can’t seem to find the EVA flights in their system.
New design isn’t bad, but the old passport photo and logo was so unique–I hope you still find a place for that.
Lots of phantom space. Annoying!
