10,000 Bonus American Miles for Eating Out 10 Times

There are some great bonuses for signing up for free programs that let you earn miles when you eat out at restaurants.

And once signed up, there are also some current strong bonuses for eating out frequently at participating restaurants.

Via Rapid Travel Chai, you need to log into your account to see what bonuses you’re being offered.

The American AAdvantage-branded version of the program has a live offer of 10,000 bonus miles after 10 dines of $40 or more by August 15, 2014.

There’s a United offer as well for 5000 miles after 10 dines of $40 or more by August 15 as well.

Be sure to read How to Earn Miles for Dining Out at Restaurants. It includes a list of all of the dining programs, and you can check with each once logged in to see what big bonuses may be offered to you.

You can always buy $40+ gift cards at your favorite restaurants if you need additional dines, and then use those gift cards to pay for future meals. And do so with your registered card, of course, attached to the relevant dining program.. hopefully one like Chase Sapphire Preferred which earns 2 points on all dining, or 3 points on the first Friday of each month.

  1. I received the offer in reverse–10K miles from United and 5K from American.

  2. Unfortunately not single restaurant in North Jersey that we patron is included. Obviously the restaurants that participate are not one’s folks would be inclined to dine at without a promotion!

  3. Torn about this one. Lots of options in DC, but mostly bad Thai food and sports bars. A few high-end places but I wouldn’t generally go to 10 of them in a 1.5 month period. And not that many I want to stock up on gift card/certificates from.

  4. 5K for me and wife, too. I’m still doing it, as SF has a number of good choices, and there’s practically no such thing as a dinner for two under $40 here.

  5. @MrChu Yeah, it’s the same story in New Orleans…The places you’d actually want to eat have no reason to bribe you to eat there. IMHO 10K miles is not worth even one visit to a restaurant you wouldn’t otherwise eat at, much less 10 visits.

  6. American is handing out their points like candy, it’s only a matter of time now…
