Weekly Sunset
Drum Circle
and
Sacred Circle
of Sound

To all Treasure Island drummers,
To harmonize with local motel owners and our surrounding community, please end drumming by 10:00pm at the Treasure Island Drum circle. This will be greatly appreciated and ensure that the circle is a welcome asset to this community for years to come.

Every Sunday, Roughly, an hour before sunset til 10:00 p.m. (see table below for sunset times) at Treasure Island Beach, Florida

From downtown St. Pete, go west on Central Avenue(over fifty cent tollbridge), then, when it dead ends into Gulf Blvd. turn left. Go a couple blocks south of Central Avenue on Gulf Blvd. to 104th Ave. (Public beach parking lot on beach side across from Treasure Island Fun Center,)

. . . .Ongoing weekly drum circle and sacred circle of sound - open to all. Everyone is welcome whether you make music, dance, or just listen.

Drums, Tibetan Chimes & Singing Bowls, Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls, Shakers, Rattles, --- All Sacred Instruments of the Earth are Welcome!

. . . .Don't be afraid to come if you don't know how to drum; that's not stopping most of the rest of us!

. . . .Children are always very welcome, but childcare is the responsibility of the guardian who accompanies them.

What should I bring?
Do I need a drum? . . . .
. . . .Bring your hand drums, any percussion instruments, violin, tuba, whatever. (Modern drum sets played with sticks don't fit in very well.)
Blankets & chairs are pleasant accessories. (No candles, incense or other flammables are allowed on this beach)

But don't worry if you don't have a drum. We usually bring a few extra drums to share.

In case of rain the circle will relocate to the pavillion at the park on 104th ave across from Fun Center(about a block east of the regular location)
