...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM EDT THIS MORNING...* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Indiana, including
the following counties, in central Indiana, Boone, Hamilton,
Hendricks, Johnson, Marion and Morgan. In west central Indiana,
Montgomery, Owen and Putnam.* WHEN...Until 900 AM EDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 256 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain with
embedded thunder. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to
begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of
rain have fallen since Tuesday afternoon.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
over the area through mid morning. This additional rain will
result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Greenwood,
Lawrence, Plainfield, Franklin, Brownsburg, Lebanon, Beech
Grove, Zionsville, Martinsville, Speedway, Greencastle,
