Andrew Christopher Harris, 47 passed this life on May 15, 2024 at Mt. Carmel Grove City Hospital. He was born February 3, 1977 in Mansfield, OH to Lillie Harris and the late Frank Selmon. Andrew made Columbus, Ohio his home with niece, Tyishia Selmon in 2019.
He worked in car detailing at Mr. Goodwash Carwash until he was no longer able to work. He was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, nephew, cousin and great friend.
He loved watching sports and was always cool and laid back. Drew loved his big cars and keeping them clean with
rims for the tires. On a nice day you could catch him slow riding, music loud and seat reclined all the way back.
Although he was so protective and serious about family he was still quite a jokester. He was a joy to be around and will truly be missed.
He leaves to cherish his memory; mother, Lillie Harris; daughters, Yasmine, Za’Kiya, Ny’Ziera Harris and Aleyah Rowe; son, DaShawn Harris; grandson, Kingston Ajian; sisters, Loretta Selmon, Christine and Francine Lewis, Shalonda Robinson; brother, Selwyne “Lamar” Talley; special nephews, Deaunte and Andre Boyd, Marquis Selmon; special niece, Tyishia Selmon and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by father, Frank Selmon; paternal grandparents, John and Mary Selmon; maternal grandparents, Walter and Beatrice Harris; sister’s son, Seraye Talley; nephew, Christopher Bradford; and close cousin, Travis Harris.
Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Friday, May 24, 2024 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, MANSFIELD CHAPEL,753 McPherson St. (formerly Williams Funeral Services). I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Andrew. As you may know we shared the same biological father. Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. Losing a loved one is never easy, and I can only imagine the pain and grief of those who knew and loved him.
It is apparent, Andrew’s presence will be greatly missed. He touched the lives of many and left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. May you find comfort in the cherished memories you shared together and in the support of your loved ones.

Growing up with Drew was so much fun! Especially the dance offs and bike rides at my grandmas house! Drew made me tough, always had my back! Those are the things I will remember most! You will be greatly missed cuzo! Love u!
