I originally gave this 1 star and bailed out after 10%. The review I wrote initially was:
"I was hoping it would be awesome. I got about 10% in on my Kindle and was suffering with all the long setup, paragraphs of character thoughts, and lack of dialogue. I quit."
My long time friend and awesome reader friend Howard Morgan told me to give it another shot and push through. So I did. And he was right - it got a lot better once we got into the book and past the long setup. While not as good as the original ones, it ended very strong, tied a bunch of things together, and set things up for another sequel.
Given that I stayed up late one night getting through it, I give it a 4 now that I gave it a real shot.

Why 4 stars considering the negative review?

I ended up reading the whole thing on Howard Morgan's recommendation and am just now getting around to editing the review.
Glad you got through it and liked it. Agree it's not 5 star, but Lagercrantz is just feeling his way to the characters, and I hope that any additional sequel will be stronger. Also loved the internal NSA people interplay.
