OK a new idea, dead simple !
I'm going to start doing a live one-hour Twitter "Question Time" on mastering, using the hashtag #masteringQT
You can ask anything you like about mastering - about submitting tracks for mastering, about what mastering is, about mastering your own music ("home mastering") or about becoming a mastering engineer - anything you like, and I'll try to answer it as best I can.
And I'm hoping other mastering engineers will join in too.
There are plenty of hotly debated topics in mastering - the more people take part, the more opinions we can get, and the more interesting the discussion will be.
So, that's it - I said it was simple 🙂
Taking part is simple, too - follow me on Twitter to find out when the next session will be, and when the time comes just post your question, making sure you include the hashtag #masteringQT. Anyone clicking on the tag will see all the questions, and all the answers too.
If you miss it or can't take part, don't panic - just click this link to see all the most recent posts.
If you're a mastering engineer, please jump in and answer questions - and if you follow one, please ask him or her to get involved.
Spread the word - share this post around with all your connections and hopefully I'll see you there !
So, the first #masteringQTÂ was a huge success - there were some great questions, some useful answers and over 10,000 people reading the tweets. So, I'll be doing it again - follow me and keep an eye on my Twitter feed or Like the Facebook page for details !
