Ms. Reginia Reed, 68, of Waco Passed away Friday, April 26, 2024.
Ms. Reginia Reed was born on July 18th, 1955, at McLennan County Hospital in Waco. She was a devoted mother of Valencia Reed, loving daughter of the late William and Jeanette Reed and the epitome of grace never saying an unkind word about anyone, even if they deserved it.
A pillar of strength to her community her religion was deeply rooted in Christian faith. Her spirit of goodwill and heartfelt kindness touched the lives of many including family and friends. Reginia worked at the Army and Air Force exchange service in Waco from 1989 until retiring in 2013. Her job at the front desk was making appointments and doing data entry wherein drivers would offload merchandise off their trucks while delivering merchandise into the warehouse.
Her co-worker and friend Nancy Montemayor had this to say, “Reginia worked very hard enjoying every moment of her job in the receiving office where we worked. We supported each other during the fun times and whenever she needed me, without hesitation I was there. During the last part of her life, we had a chance to spend time together. She maintained a bright and hopeful spirit and was loving and kind. It was my great pleasure to know her, and I will miss her very much”.
Alice Morgan: “I met Reginia in 1990 at (AAFES) when I started working in the shipping and receiving department there. Our friendship blossomed right away. There was Nancy, Floydene, me, and Reginia. She was always a model of poise, confidence and in general a great person. She was very calm when dealing with customers and stood very firm on all matters. On Fridays She volunteered and passed out food at the Church food bank. No matter what kind of day we were having she didn’t let things or people get under her skin. She was a loyal employee of which I observed and, in my opinion, ran the department single handedly. When I retried and opened a local retail store, I asked Reginia to come and work for me.
The friendship we developed was unstoppable. When I moved out of Waco, I stayed in touch with she and Nancy. Nancy had the opportunity to see her a lot more than I did. I gave her a Victoria Secret throw blanket to remember me by. Unfortunately, I did not get to see her before she passed. We loved her and she loved us. She will be sorely missed. “
Reginia was preceded in death by Kenneth Lee Moore, Bobby Will Moore and Ricky Reed
Reginia is survived by daughter, Valencia Reed; brother, Eddie James Moore and William Reed, Jr.; sisters, Sandra Bailes and Anita k. Jackson and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

As a supervisor in the receiving department I had the pleasure of working closely with
Regina for many years. I don’t think anyone could put up with the truck drivers like she did. Most of the drivers
knew her and gave her a hard time because they loved her and they knew she could take it and give it back. She was well loved by all in the receiving department. R.I.P. Regina
I met Regina when I transffered to Waco from Ft Worth. I worked in Receiving on occasion because I had worked in Receiving in Ft Worth. But my job in Waco was mail and supply clerk which involved distribution of payroll checks to the different department foreman.
Regina was my go to for Receiving, we hit it off right away. Didn’t get to keep in touch as much as I liked to.
She will be dearly missed and remembered. God has one more angel to help him now.

Hello, first of all I’m sorry for your loss. I also worked with Regina in the Receiving Dept. There’s one thing that I will forever remember is her laugh. If you didn’t know what she was laughing at or about you would laugh anyway. She was always happy at work. May your cherished memories bring moments of comfort and peace.
