PLANTED PARADISE STAMP REVIEW

by Stacey Marsh Independent UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, April 15, 2024

Hello and welcome to my blog today.

Today I am taking part in a Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop themed around the Planted Paradise Stamp Set with Demonstrators from across the globe so hop on in and be inspired...

I am sharing three card designs in my post today all of which have used the Planted Paradise Stamp Set which is a reversible stamp set that featured in the January to April Mini Catalogue, and it will also be carrying over into the 2024/25 Annual Catalogue so a really good investment set right now!

For my first card, I have used the leaf images from the stamp set and almost all of the green shades within the Stampin' Up! colour collections!

The leaf images have were stamped onto Basic White card and cut out to layer into the plant pot which I attached to the card front with Stampin' Dimensional Foam Pads to create depth in the image.

Daffodil Delight goes so well with the different shades of green on the card, and I the addition of the white heat embossed sentiment on Basic Black Card brought it all together so well!

I added some metallic ribbon behind the sentiment which I actually cut into half the width, and I just love the different textures it added onto the card.

The second and third cards that I created for this hop are shown below, and I continued to use colours from the Brights Collection with Coastal Cabana being my main colour of choice....

For the first card, I used the reverse side of the large plant pot to create the background images stamped in Coastal Cabana Ink onto Coastal Cabana Card.

I stamped a selection of leaves in different colours to layer into the plant pot, and finished with another white heat embossed sentiment onto Basic Black card.

For the third card, I introduced another stamp set - Drizzling Droplets from the Online Exclusives Range - you can see it in the background of the card front...

I stamped the sentiment onto the white die-cut banner shape, using Azure Afternoon Ink, and finished the design with some stamped and cut flowers from the Planted Paradise Stamp Set.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope that my designs have inspired you.  To continue with the hop today, select the "next" image below to see what Ellen Woodbridge has made!
