The Merry Little Christmas Planner

The Merry Little Christmas Planner has arrived!

I’ve been pouring my heart into this planner for the past two months, and it’s finally here, available for FREE to all of my email subscribers!

I’m so excited— this project means a lot to me!

Like many of you, the Christmas season holds a very dear place in my heart.

I have so many precious childhood memories, and I’m grateful to my parents, grandparents, and aunts and uncles for always making Christmas such a wonderful time of year.

Since becoming a mama myself almost 3 years ago, I’ve realized more and more just how important family traditions are.

The sights, the smells, and the sounds of Christmas come together to create the beautiful fabric of our memories.

Christmas should be a special time of joy and wonder!

Christmas on a Budget

When you grow up, you realize that things like Christmas cards, thoughtful gifts, fir trees, matching pajamas, holiday decorations, and special meals all cost money.

And they add up quite quickly!

So how do we balance being money-wise with creating a magical Christmas season for our families?

Therein lies the dilemma for those of us who live life on a budget!

I designed The Merry Little Christmas Planner because I know the struggle.

The Christmas season often feels like a tug-o-war between your time, your attention, and your money.

Having a place to keep everything organized can help!

I’ve become a spreadsheet nerd in recent years because spreadsheets help keep me sane and organized.

But they can look rather dull, so I decided to create festive, user-friendly versions of my Christmas spreadsheets!

Thus, The Merry Little Christmas Planner was born.

It was designed to help you

  • prioritize your time and money,
  • stay organized,
  • save money,
  • stay in budget,
  • and be more present during the Christmas season.

My husband created all of the beautiful watercolor artwork for the planner. I requested wintery, forest-themed illustrations, and I think he nailed it!

The Merry Little Christmas Planner has 30 pages total for you to print out and use this Christmas season.

I’ll go over each page down below, but FIRST, make sure to sign up for your FREE download!

***2023 EDIT*** Since my email list is not currently available, I’m including a direct link to the planner for those of you who would like to download it: The Merry Little Christmas Planner

Christmas Savings Plan

This sheet will help you to save for Christmas no matter what time of year it is! I recommend starting in January, if possible—the earlier, the better. I’ve also included an example page to help you get started.

The Christmas Budget

The Christmas budget is one of the most important pages in The Merry Little Christmas Planner! It will help you to stay on track and not go into debt this holiday season.

The Christmas Expense List

Keep track of your expenses with this simple expense tracker. Print off as many as you need!

The Gift List

Here you can write down each person you plan to buy or make a gift for—family, friends, and neighbors (+co-workers, teachers, church leaders, etc).

There’s also a place to fill in your total gift budget, as well as how much you plan to spend in each of these 3 categories.

The Gift Planner

The Christmas gift planner takes The Gift List page a step further. Here, you can plan out exactly what to buy for each person, as well as how much you want to spend.

I recommend filling these pages out before Black Friday and Cyber Monday roll around!

There are 2 variations of this page—one with more spaces for family, and the other with fewer spaces for friends and neighbors. Print off as many of these pages as you need!

Donations & Acts of Kindness

This is a great place to jot down ministries, individuals and charities you’d like to bless this season!

The Black Friday Shopping Organizer

We all know that Black Friday shopping can feel a bit chaotic! Using the Black Friday ads, create a plan ahead of time so that you know exactly what you’ll be shopping for. This will help cut down on impulse buys that appear to be such great deals!

The Cyber Monday Shopping Organizer

Cyber Monday is usually more relaxed than Black Friday, but it’s still good to have a plan in place! Be sure to write down gift ideas and websites ahead of time to make sure you’re able to take advantage of the amazing discounts!

In-Store Holiday Shopping List

This a helpful list to bring with you on your shopping trips. I like to jot things down as I think of them, which keeps me from forgetting things at the store later.

Online Holiday Shopping List

I like to keep a running list of things to buy online so that I can take advantage of sales, deals, and discount codes when they become available.

Holiday Party Planner

If you’re planning a Christmas party, dinner party, or get-together, this party planner page can help you to stay organized and on top of things.

Printable Menu Card

Use the menu card for your Christmas dinner or a dinner party to let your guests know what you’ll be serving. Print it on cardstock and trim the sides for an elegant look.

Christmas Card Tracker

Here, you can keep a running list of family and friends you want to send Christmas cards to.

The tracker also has a place to indicate whether or not you’ll need a stamp, and there’s a box to check once you’ve mailed or given away each card. I’ve included both numbered and unnumbered sheets!

Christmas Bucket List

There are always so many fun Christmas activities to take part in and traditions to uphold each year!

I’ve included 2 Christmas Bucket List pages. You can either create your own from scratch or use my prefilled version (with a few empty spaces at the end).

(The wintery watercolor drawings on this page might be my favorite!)

What Christmas planner would be complete without a printable to do list? I designed this one with checkboxes to keep you motivated and due dates to keep you on track!

Print off as many as you need. If you’re anything like me, you’ll need a few!

Notes & Ideas Pages

The last couple of pages are a Notes page and an Ideas page. They can be used however you’d like!
