Nebraska cattleman scales back his cow herd
Cattle rancher and farmer Galen Frenzen of Fullerton, Nebraska. He is also president of Nebraska Cattlemen.
Galen Frenzen and his son operate a cattle ranching and farming operation near Fullerton, Nebraska. Their operation includes seedstock Angus and Polled Hereford cattle, as well as both fall and spring-calving herds.
Frenzen says they calved over 600 cows last year, but he says they’ve reduced that number this year. He’s explains why on today’s program.
