Seriously, our flight on Southwest was fine. Flawless even. We purchased Early Bird Check In (which we always do when flying Southwest), and had A19 and A20 for boarding. We walked on and the exit row was empty, so we took it. In fact, we were the only 2 in our row. It’s been a while since that happened! The joys of flying on Saturday afternoon. We took a small delay at the gate to replace a cockpit oxygen mask, and we were off. Crew was nice. Flight was fast. And we arrived right on time. All jokes aside, I actually like flying Southwest on flights like this. Too bad they can’t fly MrsMJonTravel and I to Rome in First Class this fall. đŸ™‚

[…] This is good news for Southwest travelers, and assuming they successfully introduce PreCheck, will make it a lot less likely that I actively avoid the airline. BEST.REVIEW.EVER
As elite flier with united I can board for free and even not I have the credit card which gives priority boarding and free bags and lounge access. And most domestic flights will if not already have extended leg room and direct tv. Options to buy food too if u haven’t already purchased it at the airport and bought it online. Also, don’t have to pay to hear southwest sing to you. Enjoy!
Thank you Marshall for not being ridiculous about WN like so many travel-people and recognizing that they do a lot of things right, but don’t have a good rewards program for people like us.
In my experience Southwest flights are often late when the competition is OT. And they don’t exactly have an interesting or lucrative awards program now, do they?
i love southwest. they fly on time and they are the only ones who know how to make a profit
