“I first met Michael soon after I joined Cohesity when we "commandeered" him to help us with this little mobile data center build out. We hit it off from the start finding out we could swap ideas, design, and troubleshoot very well together. I will admit it took him a while to believe me about an MTU problem but that's water under the bridge :) As the years have gone on we have worked together on multiple projects and he was one of the reasons I was excited to take on my current role. I always knew whatever needed to get done he and I would and could "make it happen". Michael is never one to push back, which in some ways he could learn to a little. He is always willing to help, that's the bottom line. If he can fix it, or move things forward he will. I can honestly see for a lot of things Michael was my "go to" person only because I knew I did not have to over explain things. We were rarely not on the same page when it came to a design issue. He is also one of those folks "that gets it". He understand enterprise concepts, networking, virtualization, hardware, and is very well rounded. He also has excellent taste in food and has never disappointed when I am in town to find us a great meal. Outside of work he is genuinely what I call "good people". Huge heart on him so much as when I flippantly asked if I could borrow his car to run and get lunch, he never batted an eye and tossed me the keys. I feel like there are more stories like that and that's how you know it was a great person to know and work with. Anyone that gets the chance to work with Michael will enjoy every minute of it.”
