Bagsy Beauty

They say out of necessity comes invention, well Bagsy may not be the first brand to offer hand bag sized beauty essentials but they are the pioneer of beautiful and well thought out travel sized packaging.

Bagsy Beauty

As I am sure you have figured out Bagsy is a beauty brand that specialises in dinky, hand bag ready cosmetics which includes lips, cheeks, eyes, face and even hair and hand products. If that is not enough there is also make-up bags to collect too - each of which have been sized to comfortably be housed inside most bags be it a handbag or a clutch (cosmetic pouch aside of course!). At the moment I am just getting to grips with the products and will of course provide full reviews, swatches and thoughts in the coming days but for now I thought I'd share some photos and of course my preliminary views.

Bagsy Beauty

Let's begin with the packaging shall we? Everything is beautifully presented within printed cardboard boxes which are pretty difficult to dispose of - when something is this pretty you really don't want to let go. Inside some of the products there is little motivational and cutesy messages - the bronzer has been embossed too, with a line of sunny text. Next up is the size, everything is rather dinky; even the bronzer has been downsized to ensure your bag of choice is not engulfed with make-up products. Although smaller than usual the Bagsy products are not tricky to apply or use - the bronzer for instance will house most typical fluffy face brushes. The quality certainly has not been compromised - soft, creamy and well pigmented seems to be the general consensus, I was more than pleasantly surprised. The downside is the price - I find the products to be a little expensive, for instance I would not pay £5 for a miniature can of dry shampoo when I can pop into Boots or Superdrug and get a similar product for less than half the price. That's not to say I wouldn't pay for the lipstick or balm but some items are a little steep for what they are.
