Packers new Super Bowl favorites; Lions 40-1

The Detroit News
Calvin Johnson and the Lions open the regular season Sept. 13 at San Diego.

The Packers have passed the Seahawks as Super Bowl favorites, according to online oddsmaker Bovada.

The Seahawks had been Bovada's favorite since the end of last season, when they lost to the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

"There is very little support for them from a betting perspective," Kevin Bradley, sports book manager at Bovada, told Pro Football Talk about the Seahawks.

The Packers' odds are 6-1, followed by the Seahawks (13-2) and Colts (8-1). The Lions' odds are 40-1.
