Usage notes: Peu importe is a very common French expression, useful for indicating that something doesn’t really matter.

Par exemple…

Donne-moi un chocolat, peu importe lequel.   Give me a chocolate, it doesn’t matter which one.
Peu importe ton opinion, je vais le faire.   Your opinion doesn’t really matter, I’m going to do it.
