Missouri auction tops $4 Million

Programs ICONA recent auction brought in 3.8 Million dollars for 12-hundred acres of farmland in three northwestern Missouri counties. Ag Professional-dot-com reports the sale by Schrader Real Estate and Auction Company topped 4-Million dollars when equipment was auctioned off with the farmland.

Thirty-three bidders were at the sale. The land is in Carroll, Lafayette and Ray counties.

As of July 2014, the average price of good cropland in Missouri was $4-thousand-700 an acre.
