Ohio Barns Conference

fob-logoAn organization with an interest in preserving a part of the rural landscape in Ohio will be meeting in Findlay, Ohio this weekend.

Friends of Ohio barns will hold their Ohio Barns Conference this Friday and Saturday. Sarah Woodall says they’ll begin the conference with a tour of historic barns in Hancock County on Friday. On Saturday, a number of speakers will be on-hand to talk about preserving old barns.

“We have our famous barn detectives, Rudy Christian, who is a timber framer and Dan Troth who will be presenting slides from the barn tour and describing what these barns are all about, how they were made and the different joinery in the barns we see on Friday,” said Woodall.
