Donnelly wants EPA to rework WOTUS

Indiana Senator Joe Donnelly.

Indiana Senator Joe Donnelly wants to see the Environmental Protection Agency revers its proposed Waters of the US rule within the Clean Water Act.

In a Senate Agriculture Committee hearing earlier this week, he said EPA needs to rework to rule to provide greater clarity for farmers, ranchers and state regulatory agencies.  “We all want a rule that protects our waters from pollution,” he says.  “But we also need a rule that provides certainty and confidence for all stakeholders and even EPA admits they need to improve the rule to reset bounds.”

Donnelly said no one wants cleaner waters and better land conditions than those that live on the farm and work the land.  “The waters in my state are the cleanest they’ve been in my lifetime,” he says.  “It is everyone working very, very hard to make progress.  They’re doing it because they care about it and they want to.  And they know it’s their children’s future.”

He says it’s important for the EPA to have faith and confidence in the wisdom of the ag communities around the country.

  • Thanks Joe, We do not need them telling us what to do, they have already caused to much trouble, who is allowing planes to spray out these chemtrails, that should not be allowed, leave nature alone, this is GOD”S land, think he is in charge of the weather too, it runs in cycles, dry cycle, wet cycle, ect. we are only here for a little while!
