Mindy Kaling, star of Fox's 'The Mindy Project,' is coming to BookCon.

Mindy Kaling (The Mindy Project) and B.J. Novak are the latest TV stars – and best-selling authors – to be announced for BookCon, now in its second year.

The pair, former co-stars from The Office, will take the stage May 30 in New York to talk about Kaling's fall book of personal essays, Why Not Me? (Crown Archetype, on sale Sept. 29).

Kaling's Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? hit No. 31 on USA TODAY's Best-Selling Books list in 2011. (Novak's kids' book, The Book with No Pictures, peaked at No. 13 last fall.)

Another TV actor, Nick Offerman, also has been announced for BookCon, which is open to the ticket-buying public. He'll be on stage May 30 promoting his book Gumption: Relighting the Torch of Freedom with America's Gutsiest Troublemakers (Dutton, on sale May 26).
