Cash cheese steady to firm

In the spot dairy market Wednesday, barrels were unchanged at $1.49 and 1/4. The last bid unfilled was for two loads at the closing price. Blocks were a half cent higher at $1.55. There was one load sold at that price and the last bid unfilled was for two loads at $1.54 and 1/2.

AA butter held steady at $1.75.

Grade a nonfat dry milk was 2.5 cents lower at $1.10. There was one load sold at $1.11 and the last offer uncovered was for two loads, also at $1.11.

Class three milk futures at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange were mostly lower.
