Here's what's new on USA TODAY's Best-Selling Books list...

Dr. Seuss is on the loose: The beloved children's author has nine titles in the top 50, plus five more in the top 150. (The full list will publish on Thursday.) It's that time of year, with libraries and schools celebrating Seuss' birthday (March 2) and his books selling lots of copies. (Sales for this week's list were tracked through March 1.) The author, whose real name was Theodor Seuss Geisel, died in 1991 at age 87. The nine titles in the top 50 range from Green Eggs and Ham at No. 15 to Wacky Wednesday at No. 46. Also driving interest in Seuss: the recent news that a new Seuss title has been discovered. Random House Children's Books announced it will publish What Pet Should I Get? on July 28.

Bold Archer: Jeffrey Archer has quite the comeback story. The best-selling novelist, once deputy chairman of Britain's Conservative Party, was imprisoned from 2001-03 for perjury and perverting the course of justice during a libel trial. He kept writing, and now the fifth volume in his fictional Clifton Chronicles, Mightier Than the Sword, lands at No. 7. The previous four books in the family saga all made USA TODAY's top 25, with Be Careful What You Wish For hitting No. 9 last year. Archer first made USA TODAY's list in 1994 with Honor Among Thieves. According to his U.S. publisher, St. Martin's Press, Archer's books have sold more than 250 million copies worldwide.
