Honor Dance: Inspiring Video Asks the Public to Stand with First Nations Leaders (Video)

Video

A film inspired by love of the threatened earth and First Nations leaders who ask us to stand by them and make a statement in whatever expression moves us. Long time arts administrator, producer, and choreographer Lindy Sisson's expression is dance and she joined forces with artist, writer and filmmaker Anne Watson (Main Street Media) to undertake this project. The comrades sharing in this dance include Margie Gillis and four participants from her Hollyhock workshop on Cortes Island. We dance to raise awareness, to honour the earth and ask the peoples of the world to put their creativity into developing alternative energy technologies, healthy ecosystems and sustainable economies.
