Dairy producers should have a large, regionally diverse group of representatives in the new U.S. Congress.

According to the National Milk Producers Federation, the Dairy Farmer caucus in the 114th Congress is expected to be at least as large as the 85 member caucus in the 113th Congress.

Eight members of the U.S. House of Representatives will serve as co-chairs of the committee, including representatives Ron Ribble, Republican from Wisconsin, and Timothy Walz, Democrat from Minnesota.
